Hello, my name is Andrea and I’m the founder of Nibliss.

Before starting Nibliss, I spent years as a cheesemonger. One of my favorite parts of the job was visiting cheesemakers and farms to learn how great food is made. Whether I was standing next to a giant wheel of Emmentaler or talking with local producers, I loved learning about the care, craftsmanship, and passion that went into every product. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the people behind the food we share with family and friends.

That same curiosity eventually led me into baking. What started as experimenting with shortbread recipes grew into Nibliss, a small East Tennessee bakery focused on handcrafted desserts made in small batches.

Today, Nibliss is a family-run business, and we create ShortJams, Shrownies, ShortChocs, and ShortDunks for local markets, community events, and catering orders throughout East Tennessee. Whether it’s a single treat at a festival or a large order for a special gathering, our goal is the same: create something worth sharing with family, friends, and coworkers!

When we’re not baking, we’re still discovering new flavors, meeting food makers, and finding inspiration in the people and places that make great food possible.
